The museum curators extend their gratitude to the late Susan Crouch, ‘73, for her gift to the school museum. The gift is the old alarm clock she had in the dorms in the 1970s. The alarm clock on the old desk makes an excellent addition to the dorm cubicle inside the museum.

Susan loved her new school life at CSDR, where she made many friends and stayed busy with education and after-school activities. Her parents saw Susan's happiness with the new school in Riverside, far from home in San Diego. Her parents decided to transfer their younger child, John, from the local school to CSDR. He soon embraced the new school. Susan and John remained at the school until their graduation in 1973 and 1978, respectively.
Since 1953, thousands of students have shared their positive school experiences, similar to those of the Crouch siblings.
Thank you, the Crouch family, for your thoughtful donation, which makes the museum a little more interesting.
