Today I took a picture of Marlon Branton, '72, walking to the Brill parking lot for a return trip home after volunteering at the museum and archives.
I told Marlon he could walk on the grass around the museum building as a shortcut to his car. Instead, he chose to walk a longer route, taking the sidewalk all the way.
I told myself that Marlon is a real Brill product. Dr Brill was noted for his insistence that everyone, both students and staff, walk on the sidewalk everywhere. Grass was for beautification and playing games only.
Marlon left CSDR in 1972, 54 years ago. He still has the Brill training within himself. As a Brill product myself, I recognized his behavior on Manympus.
Evidently, Dr Brill left many marks on thousands of former students that are still in effect to this day.
